We held the first of our Sofra Sessions series with the Graffiti Book, the inspiration for everything, right in the middle of the table, and Long Time No See, who accompanied the record players with their selection of Hip Hop, DnB, and Break Beat records. This gathering, which we structured as an Art Edition format, was more like a drawing festival than an event, and it felt like the spirit from the book's pages had come to life.
On the walls, we collectively painted, scribbled, and drew on pages from a giant 70x100 Graffiti Book with over 200 distinguished artists from many different disciplines present at the event, all while enjoying the music.
We Met at Bina Moda
With the support of #yüzdeyüzmüzik, we were in that beautiful atmosphere on November 25th on the exhibition floor of Bina. Our close friend Mil Legal and Bakkal Studio accompanied us on this special day, elevating the energy of the table and the entire event. Although it was a private invitation, we became a true "streetsoul" family with those who reached out via DM and joined us.
Thanks to;
Those who supported us in bringing this project to life as we envisioned it:
Bakkal Studio
Arkhe team
Emre Şahinkaya
Yüzdeyüzmüzik
And special thanks to the @streetsoul.tr team, who, as always, orchestrated the entire process.
Graffiti Book was just the beginning for us. We will continue to share this energy from the streets at our new tables, in new countries, and new cities. Stay tuned!
