We brought the excitement of collective production we captured in the first of our Sofra Sessions series to Izmir this time! We held the second of the series, again with Graffiti Book, which is the inspiration for everything, right in the middle of the table, and with records freshly collected and brought from London by Long Time No See, who set the atmosphere with his records at the head of the table. Our Izmir meeting, like the first, was more than just an event; it turned into a real "drawing festival" that brought the spirit of the street to the gallery.
Giant Pages on the Walls, Collective Spirit on the Table
In this meeting, which we structured as an Art Edition format, the 70x100 giant pages of Graffiti Book again adorned our walls. Together with dozens of selected artists from different disciplines, we scribbled on these giant pages as well as the Graffiti Book Izmir-Ankara Editions around a large table.
We Met at Monk Art Gallery
This time, our address was Mono Art Gallery, which allowed us to explore the historical texture of Kemeraltı more closely. With the support of Yüzdeyüzmüzik, we made dozens of new friends at our meeting on February 7th.
